Doing it all… Being it all, All of the time… Is an ILLUSION.
Trying to live up to these expectations as a mother for the long haul is also like saying, “Ok patriarchy, take me down, again. Remind me, again why I’ll never be good enough. Exploit my MAGNIFICENCE & my sacred role until I feel so utterly self betrayed I give up OR become desperate & leave my lineage in the dust.
Sisterhood. Tribe. Sharing your motherhood and parenting journey with others, be it family or community IS NOT A WEAKNESS. It's SANITY. It's WHOLENESS. It’s a PRIVILEGE & in my opinion anything or anyone who tells you otherwise is wounded, sleeping, or filled with fear.
